Denise came to Tempora in 2016 with her vision to provide her winemaking consulting and clients with online educational resources. The membership website we created for her helps her clients ease the cellar chaos, make timely decisions, and use science to guide to advance their wine quality bar.
We built the DGWinemaking membership site using WordPress, WooCommerce, and WooCommerce Memberships for rapid deployment and cost-effectiveness. Denise had specific ideas about how the site should look. It should be modern, yet old-world, and be free of the cliches often found in the wine industry. You’ll find no grapes, purple or maroon on this website. What you will find is an ephemera-style logo created using the Mayer Font and an antique corkscrew. The colors olive and peach are reminiscent of grape leaves and rosé wine.

DGWinemaking has grown into a portal for winemakers to tap into Denise’s extensive knowledge of winemaking. It offers subscriptions that allow members access to exclusive articles, webinars, Q&A summaries, and training videos. But, no worries, Denise offers plenty of advice and direction in her free blog posts!

When I came to Tempora Resources, I had a vague idea of wanting to create a virtual winemaking consulting business. Carol and Larry transformed my company vision ideas into a functional, virtual platform that is both aesthetically beautiful and easy to use. I truly appreciate Carol’s attention to detail and her eye for visually appealing images and design. Tempora Resources has not only helped me create a brand, but they keep my business website in order, which keeps my business running efficiently. As a bonus, I get a lot of compliments from people that visit the website on how well organized and nice it looks.
We recently created a second portal for Denise’s wine enthusiasts called, what else? Wine Lovers. The Wine Lovers website aims to make wine approachable, enjoyable, and fun, with virtual courses on how to choose, taste, and entertain with wine, complete with the “Sip & Swirl” newsletter and Facebook Group.
We continue to update and maintain the sites’ applications and backups as well as assist with minor content and configuration changes. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for Denise!
