Woodard is an iconic American outdoor furniture company that has been in business for over 150 years. Their history began in the 1860s as Woodard Brothers, manufacturing wood furniture, window, and door sashes, blinds, and even pine-box caskets. Today, Woodard continues to make beautiful outdoor furniture in their Owosso, MI factory.
In 2014, we were commissioned to update the look and feel of Woodard’s dated website. Because Woodard is a B2B wholesale supplier, there are no direct sales from an online store. Even so, it’s imperative to implement all of the essential e-commerce product and customer features like advanced search, and layered and category-based navigation. We chose Magento Open Source for its robust eCommerce features.
We created both a Residential and a Hospitality site so that these visitors can search each website with confidence, knowing that they’ll be shown items that are readily available to their teams. The website also features custom Dealer and Rep Finder maps as well as a Where to Buy search feature.
In 2019, we updated the look of the website for a second time using the masterfully created theme design by The Brand Hatchery. Today we continue to provide maintenance, security updates, and support for the site.
